Description: This data set contains several annotation types that supplement the tax parcel maps. It contains annotation for lot numbers, right of way vacations, government lot numbers, road and railroad names, and the last three digits of the parcel numbers for buildings on leased land, such as cabins on leased Forest Service land. It was originally created with CAD software to produce paper tax maps at three different scales. When the data was merged into Arc/Info coverages, the original text sizes were retained. As new data is added, the text is sized to approximately match the adjacent existing text with the goal of making it visible at an appropriate “zoom level.”
